This week was exciting….we published on amazon a new collaboration between kate rose and our editor judi castille.
with full colour plates of 33 sea and estuary birds, poems on each and a handy reference section at the back, there is a lot about this book that we love.
Kate is a member of Royal Society Of Arts and has been published and runs poetry courses in Coreze, france. she has written poems that explore fable, folklore, characters and often have a witty turn to them.
judi explored many field guides to pull together images that show the birds in their natural habitats. she has a passion for birds and the sea and this is reflected in her other illustrative work.
this will be the first of a series of “whisper…” books combining poetry, illustrations, and reference guides. and it has been hinted the next will be of the beach and coast. we look forward to more collaborations 🙂
